My name's Kayla but you may know me as Kayley. I'm one of two co-founders/editors of The Sound Alarm. A Suffolk Class of 2012 graduate, former undergrad blogger, social media assistant and Teachers Assistant at Suffolk University. I'm a part time novelist with hopes of being published.

Now that my diploma is in hand my time as an undergraduate blogger has come to a close. I have had an amazing time at Suffolk University and some equally amazing opportunities. There are people at Suffolk, they know who they are, that have made my college experience unforgettable. So thank you all and thank you Suffolk. I look forward to being the Class of 2012 Alumni Class Correspondent for then next five years.
I’ll leave you with two last pieces of advice. 1) Bring a safety pin to graduation with you. This way you can pin your hood to your gown and not have it choke you the entire time and 2) enjoy every minute of college because it does go by so fast.

Early on in my college career I noticed a lack of music industry internships that interested me. I wanted an internship that would allow me to interview artists and to gain experience in social media promotion and website management. Many of the music review sites I checked out only wanted writers…
Woke up at 2am to a burning pain in my leg just to discover a spider bite. After a restless rest of the night I got it looked at and am now on antibiotics. The blue circle is so I can see if the rash grows bigger and if it does, it’s off to the ER I go.
